All of us who have a child in our house know that the arduous course of children learning is not at all as easy as it seems. In fact, that is the most difficult part of human learning, when your kid is just introduced to world of academics. The first thing that he learns is language which is the basic medium in which he would receive his further education, so you can fairly estimate the importance of this stage of his education.

He in this phase learns various language arts, through which he gains a proficiency in using the language. Language arts are actually different practices by which a child learns a language. These are actually various tools the child uses to read and write in a particular language.

Language arts include many activities like spelling recognition, word making, pronunciation, and many more things. That’s the reason for which we need to pay special heed to our children when they are learning these arts, some of which are almost indispensable, and actually accelerates the learning process; like sight words, which are although approximately only about 200, are the most frequently used in the literature. If a child knows how to wield these words then he gains a considerable command over that language. Another example of such art is phonics. Phonics is the important art of connecting different sounds with letter constructions.

There is not much controversy that learning up these arts are quintessential in the process of knowing a language, and hence should be paid special attention.
